When I started out at the College of Charleston in 2012, that seven miles across the bridge was the furthest I had been away from home. But on a study abroid trip through the College I met my now wife from Germany, and I moved out there after graduating to begin my career. It's cool though, we came back.
The six years I spent in Germany was an amazing time both on a personal and professional level. I learned a lot working at the software consultant agency Peerigon, and worked on several projects in that time. Some of them you will see on my work page. Upon returning I helped build and launch a webcomic platform called Storygrounds.
My guilty pleasure is refactoring. I love writing understandable, reusable, and maintainable code. Ideally in Typescript and accompanied by tests.
